Check bookings, availability and rental returns

Keep a reservation, its resources and payment information together. A booking is a different task from packing a physical order.

Reviewed 25 October 2026 · Content, insight & shop care

Before you start

The booking module must be active for the shop. Check the time zone, configured offer, resources and your permissions.

A recognisable example

A small rental business checks tomorrow's reservations. One returned item still needs inspection, so an empty calendar slot must not be treated as proof that the item is ready.

Step by step

  1. Open Bookings or the booking calendar. Choose the relevant day or week, resource and filters.
  2. Open a reservation and read its start, end, time zone, people or items and assigned resources. Review the payment summary independently from the booking state.
  3. For rental, use the available handout, return and inspection steps. Resolve attention flags before assuming that an item can be issued again.
  4. For availability questions, inspect other pages, closures and scheduled activities. Review the scope warning when the calendar is incomplete.

What you should see

You know what is reserved, when it is due and which follow-up needs attention. Recording a return does not necessarily mean the item passed inspection or a refund was paid.

If it does not work

A reservation seems missing or a slot looks free? Clear filters and inspect pagination and completeness. Check the resource and time zone. A partial calendar cannot prove full availability.
