Before you start
Decide what your newsletter is for and write a clear signup text. Sending also requires a configured delivery connection.
A recognisable example
Noor buys a tee from DYMR but does not subscribe. Her purchase can help answer an order question; it is not a reason to add her silently to a newsletter.
Step by step
- Open the newsletter settings in your shop's management area. Review the audience name, identifier, customer signup text and text version.
- Enable the supported signup choice only when the explanation is correct. Save and check the resulting configuration.
- Inspect a customer's communication preferences when needed. Keep the recorded request and its context; do not overwrite a refusal because the customer bought again.
- Before a campaign, check eligibility, opt-outs and the actual sending connection. Test signup and unsubscribe behaviour on your own shop.
What you should see
You have an understandable choice and a recorded preference. Configuring an audience does not itself send a newsletter or connect an unsupported external provider.
If it does not work
No subscription or delivery appears? Check whether signup and sending are configured separately. Ask your privacy adviser about the appropriate basis and wording for your situation; the presence of a checkbox is not a compliance certificate.
Menu names and available actions depend on your app language, permissions and connected shop. Screens show the real Daymerce interface with fictional DYMR data; original screen labels are preserved.
