Before you start
Have a purchase invoice and permission to manage the catalogue. The import supports structured UBL and specific PDF recognition; other documents need manual details.
A recognisable example
DYMR receives a supplier invoice for packaging. The owner checks quantities and net amounts, then links the confirmed line to the appropriate comparison group.
Step by step
- Open Insights, then Costs & margin, and choose Purchase & cost prices. Add an accepted PDF or UBL invoice within the file limit shown by the interface.
- Review supplier, invoice number, date, currency, net amounts and individual lines. Complete unrecognised information manually and check credits separately.
- Confirm the relevant purchase lines and link a specific observation, supplier item or comparison group to the product or variant as appropriate.
- Review the supported quantity and price range. Check the age and number of observations before using the estimate in a decision.
What you should see
Confirmed purchases support an estimate; historical orders and confirmed shop cost prices are not rewritten by this workflow. It is not an automatic full bookkeeping entry or tax filing.
If it does not work
Recognition failed or the range seems odd? Inspect the original invoice, units, currency and quantity. Do not treat a phone photo or every supplier PDF as a supported automatic receipt scan. Keep the original document for your normal accounting process.
Menu names and available actions depend on your app language, permissions and connected shop. Screens show the real Daymerce interface with fictional DYMR data; original screen labels are preserved.
